Comments for FOOT KEEPS GOING ON TO MY ANKLE

Rolling the ankle

I assume you are talking about where your ankle rolls to the outside. You need to strengthen the ankle by doing both inversion and eversion ankle exercises. Your therapist should have given you these already.

Response from Stroke-Rehab.com: Yes, this makes more sense. I didn't quite understand what you meant when I first read your post, but I see that you are saying your fool rolls over onto your ankle. The person who commented is right in that you need to work on inversion and eversion exercises. Here is a link for ankle exercises: http://www.foot-pain-explored.com/ankle-strengthening-exercises.html#static.Check with your therapist to make sure the exercises are right for you.
