My husband has severe aphasia & apraxia. Can't express held. I am just trying to continue therapy at home when he can't go to a facility due to medicare therapy cap! He may not care to improve. I don't know. I can't force him. Just want him to not regress even more. I don't push him to do things. Just suggest it would be good to continue.

Is this a problem?

First, you have to decide if this is a problem. Is he doing home based therapy on his own? How are you approaching his therapy? Criticizing his lack of results or lack of repetition? Is he happy with his current abilities? My ex was a PT and all I ever heard were criticisms of how I wasn't doing therapy correctly. I stopped listening to her.
